We are traveling to Israel to celebrate the ordination of a new Christian minister in Galilee and visit with other families pastoring churches in the area. Matt is on the board of the Christian HolyLand Foundation(CHLF), an organization that supports local Christian communities in the Holy Land. Matt was invited to attend the ordination on CHLF’s behalf, and Carol and Lauren were lucky enough to come along for the ride! Matt Nance, the Executive Director of CHLF, is our awesome guide. (Since we have two Matts, Matt Nance will be known as Awesome Matt henceforth, especially since he made our trip possible.)
